Nearby radar
See who's online near you
A live radar of people around you who are open to chatting right now, built so nobody can ever find out exactly where you are.
Find people nearby, without giving yourself away
Rounded distances only
You'll see "<1 km", "2 km" or "10+ km", never meters. Distances are bucketed and slightly randomized.
Scrambled positions
Dots are placed at a random angle on the radar, so two people can't compare notes to triangulate you.
Opt-in, and only while open
Location is off until you switch it on, updates only while you're using the app, and is never tracked in the background.
Pop-up hellos
Someone nearby online? A card pops up so you can say hi or pass. Max three an hour, so it never gets spammy.
Filter your radar
Narrow by distance range, age, online now, Verified or interests to see the people you actually want to meet.

FAQ
Nearby radar: your questions
Can someone find my exact location with the radar?+
No. Dazzlemeet stores your location snapped to a coarse grid, shows only rounded distance buckets, and places radar dots at random angles, so your exact position is never revealed.
Does Dazzlemeet track my location in the background?+
No. Location only updates while the app is open and you've turned the radar on. You can switch it off anytime in Settings.
Who appears on my radar?+
Adults (18+) who are online and have the radar switched on. Clearly labeled AI companions can also appear, marked "AI · always online" with no distance.
Can I hide from the radar?+
Yes. Turn off location or hide your online status in Settings → Privacy, and you won't appear on anyone's radar.
